Happy Diwali

Happy Diwali to all! This 2020 Diwali will be a socially distanced one, poignant. A time to pause and think of the triumph of good over evil, think of light dispelling darkness a metaphor for leading ourselves from ignorance to wisdom. Enjoy and be grateful for what we have and think of the vulnerable, the disenfranchised and for those who will find this Diwali even more difficult, if they’ve lost a loved one or having to cope with Covid. Spread some joy and happiness in your own small way. I’ve read that reading is very therapeutic and I was so pleased when my publishers sent us all this gift for Diwali. “A special Diwali Gift to you from @RingwoodPublish ‘Murder at the Mela’ is now available for just £7.99.” Get yourself a copy and add it to your gift parcel for friends and family! https://www.ringwoodpublishing.com/happy-diwali-a-gift…/

Lovely gift from Ringwood Publishing

From a wonderful poetry editor of Black Bough Press another lovely gesture to publish my micro poem in their Christmas / Winter edition and highlight it on Twitter. The print edition of their magazine is a thing of beauty. Do buy a copy. Find them on @blackboughpoems on Twitter

‘Light the fire, bring forth joy in the parlour’ To celebrate #Diwali2020, we share Leela Soma’s @Glasgowlee’s beautiful poem from our winter and Christmas edition.

Have a sparkling time and enjoy the unique Diwali 2020 which will remain in our memories for a long time to come.

Happy Diwali to you too. Some of my work does reflect the meld of the two cultures. We both enjoy that rich mixture of the cultures of India and Scotland. Thank you Palo.
